Searidge Foundation’s Alcohol rehab helping residents of Prince Edward Island
Searidge welcomes many patients from all across the Atlantic Provinces, and Prince Edward Island is no exception, we are here for the people of PEI who are battling with alcohol use disorders. Our approach to treatment centres is kind of like PEI in that we maintain a smaller facility, but get BIG results. And like PEI we know that sometimes the best things come in smaller packages.
At Searidge we ensure that each graduate of our unique and customized recovery and healing programs provides our residents with exactly the right tools and provide the resources needed to help a person maintain a life free of the grip of Alcohol’s destructive influence.

Our dedicated intake team will work with residents of PEI seeking to recover from an ALcohol use disorder to get to our Annapolis Royal facility. Whether you take the Wood Island ferry from PEI to Caribou, Nova Scotia or fly into Halifax International Airport, our driver will pick you up at any location and from there bring you to Searidge Alcohol Rehab centre.
Searidge Foundation showcases and exemplifies the benefits of receiving alcohol rehabilitation treatment outside of your hometown, or in this case, your home province. When you step outside of the area where you engage in your perpetual habits, that cycle you feel stuck in, the success and stability of your sobriety exponentially increases, simply by removing yourself from the toxic environment. As an alternative, Searidge Foundation offers folk from Prince Edward Island the opportunity to escape their life of addiction, by providing a safe space, close enough to drive to, but far enough away to turn a new leaf without constant reminders of the past, which may hinder their recovery.

Locals and visitors alike are in for a real treat when they visit one of the many boutique hotels and shops dotted along rows of brightly coloured houses or indulge in a meal at any one of her amazing restaurants, cafes or bistros.
A haven for the literary and artistic Prince Edward Island has a long history of supporting the artistic flare of its residents, old and newcomers alike. Sculptors, Painters, Writers, Potters, Dancers, Singers, Poets and more have made PEI their home.
When you are here you can not help but be in awe of the distinct contributions of her first people the Mi’kmaq. Immerse yourself in PEI history when you spend an afternoon exploring the Lennox Island Mi’kmaq Cultural Centre.
Searidge Sponsored SMART Recovery® Meetings
SMART Recovery® is an abstinence-based, not-for-profit organization with a sensible self-help program for people having problems with drinking and using. It includes many ideas and techniques to help you change your life from one that is self-destructive and unhappy to one that is constructive and satisfying.
SMART Recovery® is not a spin-off of Alcoholics Anonymous. No one will label you an “alcoholic”, an “addict” or “diseased” nor “powerless”, and if you do not believe in a religion or spirituality, that’s fine, too. We teach common sense self-help procedures designed to empower you to abstain and to develop a more positive lifestyle. When you succeed at following our approach, you may graduate from the program, or you may stay around to help others.
Searidge Alcohol Rehab offers a variety of aftercare programs to our alumni to help ensure their sobriety is sustained. SMART Recovery® group meetings have proven to be incredibly beneficial to our Searidge alumni. SMART Recovery® meetings give our graduate residents the tools and support they require to remain sober.
All SMART Recovery® meetings are held on Zoom please go to our SMART Recovery® Nova Scotia website at https://www.smartrecoveryns.com to learn more or sign up to attend a meeting.
Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings in PEI
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
